Methodical online workshop “Digital Literacy in Grade 1”

On January 20, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a joint online workshop with the publishing house Arman-PV in order to familiarize with the educational and methodological complex of the subject “Digital Literacy” in Grade 1 for teachers of Computer Science of the Kazakh-language schools.

The authors and developers of the textbook “Digital Literacy” in Grade 1 took part in the workshop:

Aigul N. Bekbolatova, editor-in-chief of Arman-PV, briefed on “Arman-PV baspasy - armanynyzdagy kitaptar;

Guldana A. Kopeyeva, author of the textbook “Digital Literacy” in Grade 1 on “Electronic applications use efficiency (SD disk, platform) in the learning process”;

Aisulu U. Baktygaliyeva, editor of Arman-PV on “Ekitap.kz - applying educational platforms.”

The speakers of the workshop introduced the basic content of the subject “Digital Literacy” in Grade 1, aimed at developing school students' algorithmic thinking in a gaming programming environment, with the main components of a set of robotics, assembly and control of a simple robot.

The event was attended by 100 teachers of Computer Science of secondary schools of the region.
