Implementing the Initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev “EL UMITI” - National Intellectual Olympiad “Myn bala”
The II National Intellectual Olympiad “Myn Bala” among the fifth and sixth graders of rural schools started on February 24, 2021. It was held as part of implementing the El Umiti Initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev, in accordance with the action plan of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
The participants of the Olympiad were to register from February, 24 to March, 24 on the online platform.

On May 5, 2021, the second round of the Olympiad was held on the basis of U-Study in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Semey city, Ayagoz town, Ulken Naryn settlement and Aksuat settlement.
The Olympics were held in compliance with the mask regime and enhanced measures of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
According to the results of the Olympiad, 76 participants from East Kazakhstan region became winners and entered the list of 1000 best schoolchildren of the Republic.

17 students-winners of the 6th grades entered the Republican and Regional Specialized Schools for Gifted Children in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2018 No. 564 “On approval of the Model Rules to enter educational institutions implementing general educational curricula of primary, basic secondary and general secondary education” on the approval of a 10% quota of the total number of students admitted to the 7th grade in specialized educational institutions for the winners of the Myn Bala National Intellectual Olympiad.
