Regional workshop “Automatization of a college library to increase library efficiency”

 Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the action plan of the Regional Methodological Association of Chiefs of Libraries, jointly with M.O. Auezov Pedagogical College.

The goal is to develop an electronic version of the publications of the Library Fund, to substantiate computer-information communication.

The speakers of the workshop were: Sh.U. Aikebayeva, a librarian of M.O. Auezov Pedagogical College (Automatization of a college library: the efficiency of using the KABIS Program), Zh.M. Chushekova, head of Reader Service Department of Abai Scientific Universal Library of Semey city (Electronic search and its types: social partnership as a means of improving students' knowledge), E.D. Bitoleuova, head of K. Mukhamedkhanov Small Research Center of Semey city (The value of K. Mukhamedkhanov's website in building information and communication competence of college students), D.T. Ospanova, a methodologist of M. O. Auezov Pedagogical College (The efficiency of N.K. Kaliyev Electronic Information Hall in improving students’ knowledge), L.S. Bayakhmetova, head of Educational Department of M.O. Auezov Pedagogical College, a coordinator of Platonus educational platform (Ways to optimize information services for readers online).

The workshop resulted in adoption of appropriate recommendations.
