Resource Center for Inclusion Support Opened in Mukhamet Shayakhmetov Secondary School No. 23

On December 14, 2021, a Resource Center for Inclusion Support was opened at Mukhamet Shayakhmetov Secondary School No. 23 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, as part of marking the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of DARA Fund and MARS Kazakhstan LLP.

The key goal of the Resource Center is to create equal opportunities via introducing an inclusive model of education and training for children with special educational needs on an equal basis with their peers.

This is the fifth Center opened in cooperation with DARA Fund. Thanks to opening such centers in the region, more and more children with special educational needs fully participate in school life, in society, and become more independent.
