Results of SPORTLAND regional competition, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

SPORTLAND regional competition took place on December 7-10, 2021, in order to popularize and increase the prestige of Physical Culture among students of general education institutions, as well as to improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for students in modern life. The competitions were held online via Zoom in compliance with the standards of sanitary and epidemiological safety, the disinfection regime.

The Competition was attended by the winners of the school and district rounds of the Competition. The number of participants - 120 schoolchildren of secondary schools of the region.

SPORTLAND regional competitions included two groups:

Group 1: 5-6 graders (3 boys, 2 girls - from the same school);

Group 2: 7-8 graders (3 boys, 2 girls - from the same school).

The Competition Program included: pull-ups (boys); curl-ups (girls); squat position, front leaning rest position (boys, girls); classic squatting with hands in front of chest (girls); classic flexion and extension of the arms in the lying position (boys); throwing a basketball from the chest into the basket (boys, girls).

Following the Competition, 23 students won the First Degree Diplomas, 37 students the Second Degree Diplomas, and 58 ones won the Third Degree Diplomas.

The other participants were awarded certificates.

In the team event, the awards went to:

Grades 5-6:

I place - the Team of Shakarim Multidisciplinary Gymnasium with instruction in three languages, Semey city;

II place - the Team of Kairat Ryskulbekov Secondary School, Beskaragai district;

III place - the Team of Zhezkent Secondary School, Borodulikha district.

Grades 7-8:

I place - the Team of Mayakovsky Secondary School, Zharma district;

II place - the Team of Regional Specialized Boarding School-Lyceum for Gifted Children, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

III place - the Team of Secondary School No. 5, Ayagoz district.
