Regional online workshop “Ensuring efficient methodological efforts as a major reserve to enhance the professional competence of a teacher”
On December 9, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop called “Ensuring efficient methodological efforts as a major reserve to enhance the professional competence of a teacher”, for methodologists of the region.
The key idea of the workshop is to show the work of the Methodological Service of District and City Education Departments, aimed at a comprehensive improvement of qualifications and professional skills of each teacher, as well as to develop and increase the creative potential of the collective body as a whole, and ultimately - to improve the quality and efficiency of the educational process.
A methodologist is a pedagogical worker of an educational institution who performs educational and methodological work, applying various forms of scientific and methodological work: scientific and practical conferences, workshops, round tables, pedagogical workshops, contests, forums, festivals.
Sarah S. Zhumanova, a leading expert of Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education, presented the major directions of activities, problems and prospects of the Methodological Service of Methodological Offices, ways of their improvement, the use of innovative methods in the process of work.
During the online workshop, Aigul Kh. Zhelpakova, a methodologist of Shygys RC, shared her experience in Scientific and Mathematical Subjects. In her report, Aigul Kh. Zhelpakova explained that methodological work is not only shapes pedagogical skills, but also creates conditions for teacher's personal development, outlines teacher's individuality, as well as creates necessary and sufficient conditions for their progress.
Aibarsha Z. Nurpeisova, Head of Methodological Office of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, EA EKR, presented the level model of the Methodological Service of the City Education Department as well as its key directions of activities.
Head of Methodological Office of Education Department of Semey city, EA EKR, Gulfiya M. Akhmetova, shared her experience of effective methodological support of preschool education, environmental education, psychological service.
Elena A. Gilyova, Head of Methodological Office of Education Department of Shemonaikha district, EA EKR, briefed on the activities of a methodologist as a thinker, organizer, researcher, strategist, tactician, as well as on creating a single methodological environment in the context of education modernization.
The participants highly commended the workshop.
