Debate tournament dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On November 27-28, 2021, National School Debate Tournament took place in Nursultan city, dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

East Kazakhstan region was represented by two teams - the Kazakh league and the Russian league.

The team of the Kazakh league “Bostandyk” was composed of Meruert Gazizova and Nurai Kalelova.

The team of the Russian league “Butterfly Effect” consisted of Linara Nurgaliyeva, a student of the 11th grade of Economic Lyceum of Semey city, and Marina Kazantseva, a student of the 10th grade of Regional Specialized IT-Scool-Lyceum, Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The Russian league was attended by 17 teams from all regions of the country and Almaty and Nursultan cities. Butterfly Effect Team won the 3rd place winning 3 times in rounds. Bostandyk Team reached the quarter final. The teams from East Kazakhstan region showed professional and decent games.

The teams were trained by - Rafail R. Dautbayev (Semey city), Binazar B. Oktyabr (Ust-Kamenogorsk city), Nazym E. Shaizanova (Ust-Kamenogorsk city) and Aigerim T. Kenzhebayeva (Semey city).
