Workshop “Translating experience to make specialties of technical and vocational education more attractive” (with international participation)

Today, on November 26, 2021, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Geological Prospecting College held a workshop on the topic “Translating experience to make TVE specialties more attractive” (with international participation), in accordance with the action plan of the Regional Methodological Association of Deputy Directors for educational and training affairs.

The goal is to provide methodological support to educational institutions of the TVE system in organizing vocational-oriented work.  

The online workshop was attended by deputy directors for educational and training affairs, employees responsible for vocational-oriented work of colleges in Kazakhstan, as well as teachers of special disciplines of colleges and technical schools of the Russian Federation.

The workshop provided the opportunity for exchange of experience in the issues of vocational-oriented education. All participants noted the importance of involving young people to study technical specialties, the demand for personnel in this direction in various sectors of the economy.

Appropriate recommendations were adopted based on the outcomes of the workshop.
