Regional workshop “The focus of activities of Resource Centers for Inclusive Practices Development”

Resource Centers for Inclusive Practices Development are being established on the basis of secondary schools on the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. National Research Center for Special and Inclusive Education Development” (NRC SIED) will coordinate the Resource Centers.  

The Resource Center is an additional function that a general education school takes on, having a Psychological and Pedagogical Support Service in its structure.

On November 23, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional online workshop on the topic “The focus of activities of Resource Centers for Inclusive Practices Development”.

The Deputy Director of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region S.T. Nurkanova welcomed the participants of the workshop.

The speakers of the event are:

- A.K. Kubentayeva, a methodologist-psychologist of Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region briefed on the tasks, the key activities of the Resource Center for Inclusive Practices Development;

Teachers-specialists of Secondary School No. 15 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, EA EKR: A.I. Mikhantseva, K.A. Nabiyeva, G.M. Zhandrbek, Zh.B. Bakytkazina acquainted with the information about the documentation of a defectologist, speech therapist, psychologist and teacher-assistant.

In all, 100 teachers of educational institutions of the region participated in this event and received methodological recommendations.

In the reflective part, the participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers for meaningful and practically meaningful information.
