Childhood without cruelty and violence
Law enforcement authorities, jointly with NGOs carried out preventive measures aimed at preventing offenses and violence, within the framework of the republican month “Bala Kukygy - Adam Kukygy” and the information campaign “Childhood without cruelty and violence” with the aim of attracting the attention of students, parents and teachers to the problem of violence against children, forming an intolerant attitude towards child abuse.
Classroom meetings were held on the topic “Children's rights and their responsibilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Family Institute and Its Values in Kazakhstan”, “We are against violence”, parent meetings on the topic “Family and raising a child”, “Rights and responsibilities of children”, debates on the observance of children's rights, raiding events in the evening.
Essay and essay contests were held among students in grades 9-11 in schools on the topic: “How to build a world without violence?”. Drawing competition “Every child has the right” among elementary school children.
Members of the Adal Urpak Club held a round table on the topic “The law about me, me about the law” with students of grades 7-9, where they talked about the rights of the child and noted how important it is today to have such qualities as honesty, integrity, respect and responsibility.
Members of the Commission for the Protection of Children’s Rights organized workshops, talks with schoolchildren, social educators, psychologists on the topics “Prevention of delinquency among minors”, “Children's rights are crucial for the state”, aimed at increasing public awareness and legal literacy of students, promoting a healthy lifestyle, tolerant attitude towards each other, intolerant attitude towards child abuse.
Brochures, memos, leaflets, videos against cruelty and domestic violence were distributed among school students and parents.
Information stands have been set up in educational institutions, where there is information about services that provide assistance in difficult life situations, helplines for children and adolescents.
