Regional Meeting of Ulanbasy Leaders

Since 2020, Children's Representative Offices on Children’s Rights Protection have been established in all educational institutions of the region in order to protect the rights of children and the legitimate interests of minors, shaping their legal culture.

The leader of the children's representative office of the school is Ulanbasy (leader of Zhas Ulan children's organization).  

In September this year, elections were held in educational institutions, then in October they elected district/city Ulanbasy, who entered the Regional Ulanbasy Council.

A regional meeting of the Ulanbasy Council took place on November 5, 2021, where 19 participants presented their program, the work plan for the school year. The meeting nominated a candidate for the Republican Ulanbasy Council - a student of the 9th grade of M. Ostrovsky Kurchum Secondary School No. 4 Aruzhan B. Kazezkanova.

All members of the Ulanbasy Council spoke about their main priority areas: increasing the level of school progress, developing additional education in the region, supporting children's initiatives, participating in solving topical issues of ensuring children's rights at school.

The members of the Ulanbasy Council actively participate in the events timed to coincide with the World Children's Day: together with the members of the Adal Urpak Club with secondary school students, they held a round table on the topic “Law about me, me - about the law”, jointly with law enforcement officers they held conversations with schoolchildren “The law guarantees ...”, with primary school students organized a drawing competition “Each child has the right.”

During the meeting, the schoolchildren also shared their work experience, exchanged views and wished each other excellent knowledge in studies and an active life position.
