Regional Methodological Online Workshop “Using Online Learning Platforms to Address Knowledge Gaps”

One of the urgent tasks of the 2021-2022 school year is to identify knowledge gaps as well as to address knowledge gaps over the past school year. This process is an integral part of the activity of every teacher.

On November 5, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional methodological online workshop “Using Online Learning Platforms to Address Knowledge Gaps”, within the framework of the action plan during the autumn holidays in order to improve the quality of work on addressing knowledge gaps.

More than 100 people took part in the online workshop: teachers of History of educational institutions of the region, heads of Associations, methodologists of District / City Education Departments.

During the workshop, the following experts shared their experience:

Dana D. Beisembinova, a teacher of History of Secondary School No. 23 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk, EA EKR on “Possibilities of online services to fill knowledge gaps of secondary learners”;

Kanagat K. Salakhov, a teacher of History of Yuri Gagarin Secondary School of Education Department of Zaisan district, EA EKR on “Okushy bilimindegi olkylyktardy zhoyudagy pedagogikalyk suyemeldeu zhane tuzetu”;

Shaki Zh. Ualshayev, a teacher of History of Abai Secondary School of Education Department of Ulan district, EA EKR on “Okushy bilimindegi olkylyktardy tolyktyru zhane zhoyuda koldanatyn tiimdi belsendi adis-tasil”;

Khakim O. Smagulov, a teacher of History of N. Ostrovsky Comprehensive Secondary School-Gymnasium No. 1 of Education Department of Shemonaikha district, EA EKR on “Interactive methods of work when teaching History and Law to address knowledge gaps.”

The exchange of experience on addressing knowledge gaps expressed the need to fulfill the requirements of the curriculum and meet the learners’ needs.

In the feedback, the participants expressed their gratitude to the speakers and organizers, who shared their experience and said that they use the proposed methods and techniques in their work.
