Regional online workshop “The Role of Methodological Service in Preparing Teachers for “Best Teacher Award”

On November 3, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop “The Role of Methodological Service in Preparing Teachers for “Best Teacher Award”, as part of sharing the experience of the winners of “Best Teacher Award-2021”.

The goal of the workshop is to generalize and disseminate advanced pedagogical experience of Methodological Units to prepare the winners of “Best Teacher Award”, to increase professional competence, and methodological support of teachers.

More than 100 heads of Methodological Units of Education Departments of districts and cities, deputy headmasters for methodical affairs of educational institutions of the region took part in the event.

The moderator of the workshop - Alma T. Kenzhebayeva, head of Teaching Personnel Professional Competencies Development Unit of Shygys RC EA EKR, at the beginning of the workshop presented the results of the regional and republican rounds of the Competition “Best Teacher Award-2021”.

The following speakers shared their experience:

Anargul S. Bokhayeva - Head of the district Methodological Unit of Education Department of Borodulikha district of EA EKR on “Pedagogy of cooperation as a key to success in the republican competition “Best Teacher Award”;

Gulfiya M. Akhmetova, Head of the city Methodological Unit of Education Department of Semey city on “Preparatory stages of a portfolio for “Best Teacher Award”;

Olga I. Gataullina, the winner of “Best Teacher Award”, a teacher of Mathematics and Computer Science of Sagadat Nurmagambetov Secondary School No. 4 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city on “Features to solve creative tasks at the republican competition”.

During feedback, the participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers and speakers, noting the methodological literacy, content and effectiveness of the workshop.

The materials of the workshop were sent to District and City Education Departments.
