Republican children's reading competition “Do you know your native Kazakhstan?” for school children of grades 5-7

The Republican Children's Reading Competition “Do you know your native Kazakhstan?” for school students of grades 5-7 is held in order to implement the Rukhani Zhangyru Program, on the basis of the Comprehensive Plan for Learners’ Reading Literacy Development within the framework of the project “Reading School 2020-2025”.

The main goal of the Competition is to increase interest in reading books, fascinating children with history, geography, astronomy and various sciences, modernizing the consciousness of schoolchildren through the principles of Rukhani Zhangyru.

The competition is based on the content of books included in the list recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The competition includes four rounds:

The first round is district;

The second round is regional.

The third round (zonal) - according to the results of the zonal round, 5 winning teams are named.

The fourth round (Republican) - held between 5 teams-winners of the zonal round.

The first round of the competition was attended by 2,664 school students of the region, 78 of them will take part in the regional round, which is taking place on November 8, 2021.

The winners will be awarded the I, II, III Degrees Diplomas, and the participants will be awarded certificates of Daryn Centre.
