Outcomes of the training workshop on the “4K” methodology diagnostics of abilities of children of 10-11 years of age

As part of the El Umiti Initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, since 2020 East Kazakhstan region has been implemented the project to identify and support talented schoolchildren and young people. One of them is the Qabilet Project.

The Qabilet Project includes identifying the level of abilities and conducting vocational guidance testing of children of a certain age, as well as further support and development of children with a high level of abilities.

This project will be launched in a pilot mode throughout the Republic, including in East Kazakhstan region, at the first stage, schoolchildren aged 10-11 will be able to take part in the Project.

Within the framework of this project, on 20-26 September, 2021, the Elbasy Academy Corporate Fund organized a training workshop on the methodology to diagnose the abilities of children aged 10-11 using a “4K” unified methodology, specially developed as part of the program to level the intellectual and personal potential of students of secondary schools through Qabilet activities.

The program of the training workshop studied the methods of diagnosing the psychomotor sphere of children, diagnostics of creative abilities, the technology of conducting psychological diagnostics in electronic format, registration of students on the platform of the Qabilet service, passing diagnostics in online and offline formats, as well as evaluating the results of diagnostics of psychological research and diagnostics of personality abilities.

The workshop was attended by the staff of Daryn East Kazakhstan Scientific and Methodological Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development.

The training workshop studied the methods of working with tests and methods of diagnosing the level of abilities. The participants of the training workshop were tested, and then they got certificates.
