Working meeting of Regional Association of Educational Psychologists

An educational psychologist is a person who has the equal importance on a par with parents and teachers to head the young generation a grown-up life. The work of an educational psychologist is becoming a necessary element of the school's educational process management system. The role of an educational psychologist is of paramount importance in helping find a way out of the problems of a child entering a difficult teenage period, a teenager who is developing as a person, his/her support in difficult life situations is crucial.

The purpose of psychological support is to create social and psychological conditions for the personality development of school students and their successful learning. In this regard, the competent organization of the activities of the professional network community - the Regional Association of Educational Psychologists - is of great importance.

On September 28, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a remote working meeting of the Regional Association of Educational Psychologists with the participation of methodologists from District, City Education Departments in charge of Psychological Service and members of the Regional Association - Chairs of District, City Associations of Psychologists.

The following experts shared their experience during the workshop:

S. Bodesova, the Chair of the Association of Psychologists of Ayagoz district, a teacher-psychologist of Secondary School No. 4 spoke about the planning of work and its implementation in the Association of Psychologists of Ayagoz district;

I.T. Tagiyeva, the Chair of the Association of Psychologists of Zharma district, a teacher-psychologist of Mayakovsky Secondary School focused on the duties of a teacher-psychologist and a correctional-developmental program for children with special educational needs;

Gulfairus A. Azhakhmetova, the Chair of the Association of Psychologists of Zaisan district, a teacher-psychologist of Lomonosov Secondary School shared her experience of working with parents on the course “Conscious parenting”.

As a result of the meeting, the educational psychologists discussed the efficient methods of work of the psychological service at school and expressed gratitude to the organizers of the meeting.
