Regional online workshop “Modern pedagogical special and educational technologies in training and upbringing of children with special educational needs”

On August 19, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional online workshop “Modern pedagogical special and educational technologies in training and upbringing of children with special educational needs” for experts and methodologists of District, City Education Departments in charge of inclusive education, deputy headmasters for educational work of special boarding schools, defectologists, speech therapists, educators of inclusive and special groups of general education schools, preschool institutions, psychological and pedagogical correction units, teachers of inclusive and correction-developmental training classes.  

The purpose of the event is to create an integrated system of psychological and pedagogical conditions conducive to the successful adaptation, rehabilitation and personal growth of children in society, to create conditions for the educational environment in the format of distance learning.

The following experts shared their work experience: a primary school teacher of Secondary School No.15 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city S.S. Smirnova; Deputy Headmaster for Educational Work of Secondary School No.4 of Education Department of Semey city A.O. Akasheva.; Deputy Headmaster for Educational Work of Special Boarding School No.7 of Ridder town S.P. Sherbanyeva; Head of Psychological and Pedagogical Correction Unit of Zaisan district, a defectologist T.A. Ualynova.

Over 100 teachers of the region took part in the event. The workshop resulted in feedback where the participants discussed the teachers’ efforts to introduce modern innovative effective methods, techniques and technologies for working with special children.
