Results of the II Myn Bala National Intellectual Olympiad

The second round of the Myn Bala National Intellectual Olympiad was held among schoolchildren of 5-6 grades of rural schools of the region, as part of implementing the El Umiti Initiative of the First President Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev.

The Olympiad is held annually to create conditions for the development and support of the talents and abilities of schoolchildren from rural districts. The Olympiad started on February, 24 and was held in several rounds. Over 13,000 schoolchildren of grades 5-6 of rural schools of the region were registered on the online platform of the Elbasy Academy.

The Olympiad took place offline on the basis of the U-Study Testing Centers of East Kazakhstan region in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements. Participants passed computer testing to assess academic knowledge in Mathematics, Kazakh for students with Kazakh language of training, Russian for students with Russian language of training, English and Natural Science.

According to the results of the final round of the Olympiad, 76 schoolchildren became winners. The winners who finished the 6th grade and had the highest scores, are given the opportunity to continue their education in specialized schools for gifted children in accordance with the quotas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

And also, all participants of the II round are offered free training at the Birge Oqý Online School of the Elbasy Academy.
