Opening of Multimedia Room

On May 31, 2021, the grand opening of the Multimedia Room on metallurgical disciplines and Educational Complex Chemical Laboratory took place as part of cooperation of the Eastern Technical and Humanitarian College with Kazzinc LLP, with the financial support of the enterprise.

The event was attended by the CEO for Administration Affairs A. LAZAREV, the CEO for Metallurgy, Director of Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex of Kazzinc T. AZEKENOV, Head of Technical and Vocational Department of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region G. ISKAKOVA. Within the framework of social cooperation and with the financial support of the enterprise, the College purchased this modern equipment.  

The College Laboratory is complex, that is, several areas of chemical analysis are concentrated and integrated on one area - weight, laboratory of qualitative and quantitative analysis, physicochemical analysis. When purchasing the equipment, we took into account the qualification requirements for the working profession “Laboratory assistant of chemical analysis”. This is an integrated stand with a complete set of educational equipment: chemical glassware, measuring instruments, digital microscope, multimedia sensors, electrolysis device and much more. Also, the College Laboratory is equipped with a special analytical balance, a muffle furnace, a spectrometer, a pH meter and a drying cabinet.

The special pride of the college is the Multimedia Room related to enrichment in metallurgy. In addition to computer monoblocks, it has an interactive stand “Mineral processing” intended for practical training. Animated 3D models of technological schemes and equipment help students to easily master, for example, the design of processing machines or metallurgical equipment.
