Regional distance workshop “Improving professional skills of TVE educators in the context of updated education content”

On May 19, 2021, a regional distance workshop on the topic “Improving professional skills of TVE educators in the context of updated education content” was held by the branch of Orleu National Center for Professional Development JSC Institute for Professional Development of Teachers of East Kazakhstan region with participation of the representatives of educational institutions of the TVE system and other interested persons showing a professional interest in the problem.

The purpose of the workshop: to improve professional competencies and methodological skills of the TVE teachers in the context of updated education content of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

1. Akylbek, Director of the Center for Vocational Education of East Kazakhstan region briefed on the topic “The role of a teacher in updated education content in conditions of technical and vocational education”.

Also, during the workshop, representatives of educational institutions of the TVE system of EKR shared their experience in improving professional skills of teachers.  

As a result of the workshop, the following recommendations were adopted:

• the education content should meet the specifics of the specialty, the direction of TVE;
• mastering the professional competencies of TVE teachers, including the updated education content to be a priority area of ​​education in our state, to be based on practical application.

In this regard, it was noted that professional development courses should be taken on a systematic basis.
