Remote Student Research Conference “Development of communications sector during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On May 04, 2021, a remote research conference was held among the students of East Kazakhstan colleges involving students from other regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as from abroad. Radio Engineering and Communications College under the leadership of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region hosted the conference.

The topic of the student conference is “Development of communications sector during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, the goal is to cultivate patriotism in students and pride for their country, for the past of their people and Homeland, an objective and historically truthful description of the development of the communications sector and heroism of communications workers during the Second World War.

The conference has a 10-year history and special educational value.

The conference was attended by 42 students, including from colleges of East Kazakhstan region - 27 students, the Russian Federation (Tomsk) - 1; from the cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Almaty - 5; Pavlodar - 1; Aktobe - 6; Karaganda - 2.

The conference was held on a high patriotic and solemn note, before the start of the conference, participants and guests observed a minute of silence in memory of the heroes and victims of the Second World War.

The guests of the conference were: military members of Military Unit No.44793, communications veterans of East Kazakhstan region, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (RF), Directors of the colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, engaged in the training of communications specialists.

The materials presented at the conference were full of thrill respect for the participants in historic events and pride in the heroes of the Great Patriotic War who defeated fascism.

The following research works of students were awarded diplomas of the Center for Vocational Education of EKR: the list of awarded students. Also, all conference participants received certificates.
