PRESS RELEASE Regional Distance Competition “Best School Museum”

The regional distance competition “Best School Museum” is taking place on 4-6 May, 2021, within the framework of the Republican project “Tarikh Murasy” of the Rukhani Zhangyru Program.

The goal of the Competition is to search for new approaches to the process of cultivating patriotism and spirituality in the younger generation through local history education and upbringing.  

Objectives of the Competition:

- identification and dissemination of teachers’ advanced practices in designing and efficient using of museums for civil and historical and cultural education, patriotic education of students;  

- active involvement of schoolchildren to learn about Kazakhstan’s history, shaping students' skills in search, research work.

The competition is held in two rounds:

- the first round - district (city) competitions. The form and timing of the first round of the competition are determined by the district (city) education departments.  

- the second round- the regional Competition, which will be held in a distance format on 4-6 May, 2021.

The event, organized by Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, will be presented by museums of general and secondary education institutions of the region.
