Methodical online workshop “Modern technologies as a tool to control education quality in teaching Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science”

On April 6, 2021, according to the action plan, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a methodological online workshop “Modern technologies as a tool to control education quality in teaching Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science”.

The goal of the workshop is to use modern technologies and provide methodological assistance in teaching subjects in small schools in the context of the updated education content.  

The event was attended by 100 teachers of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science of small schools of the region.

The workshop shared the experience of:  

Nurzhan A. Kaiynbayeva, a teacher of Mathematics and Computer Science of Ukrainian Secondary School Complex Kindergarten of Ulan district, presented her experience in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science using the Plickers application with QR codes, showed the advantages and disadvantages of this technology through the topic “Use of Plickers formative assessment technology in a small school”;

Anar A. Chekina, a teacher of Mathematics, Computer Science of Novo-Khairuzovskaya Secondary School of Katon-Karagai district, shared the peculiarities of working with children when working in classrooms-sets of small schools in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Feedback took place during the workshop. The participants noted the relevance and practical importance of the speakers of the online workshop and received huge knowledge resources to use them further in their practice.
