Results of regional distance competition of projects “Youth health – National Health” among college students

On 15-31 March, 2021 Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held the regional distance competition of projects “Youth health – National Health” on the basis of Katon-Karagai Agrarian and Technical College among students of educational institutions of the TVE system of the region, according to the annual action plan of the Regional Methodological Association of Lecturers of Service Trades and Services Department.  

More than 30 applications from college students were submitted to participate in the competition.

The goal of the competition is to identify and encourage research, project activities of students, cultivating a healthy lifestyle among young people.

Within the framework of the project, students addressed the current problem of proper nutrition for young people. To solve this problem, students, based on observations, studying literature on a given topic, questionnaires, experiments, conducted their own research.

To choose the best works and name the winners and prize-winners, the Organizing Committee formed a jury comprising of lecturers, masters of industrial training, nutrition experts and experts of the service sector.

According to the results of the competition, 1st place went to Mariya A. Savchenko, a student of Altai Agricultural College (scientific supervisor Elena A.Smirnova), 2nd place - Darya D. Guslyakova, a student of Ust-Kamenogorsk Multidisciplinary Technological College (scientific supervisor Mariya F. Evstratchik), 3rd place - Maulit Sayazhan Ernatkyzy, a student of M.Auezov Pedagogical College (scientific supervisor Laura U. Kuspanova) and Denis S. Khudyakov, a student of Shemonaikha College (scientific supervisor Lyudmila V. Sabelfeld).
