Regional online workshop “Features to design summative assessment tasks”

On March 25, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, as part of implementing the action plan of the spring break, held an online workshop “Features to design summative assessment tasks”.  

The goal of the workshop is to improve the professional level of teachers in developing and analyzing summative assessment assignments within the framework of the updated content of education, exchange of experience between subject teachers.

The online workshop shared the work experience of teachers of the schools of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk:

Gaukhar T. Sygayeva, a teacher of Geography of Shokan Ualikhanov School-Lyceum No.3 on “Bilim sapasyn arttyrudagy zharatylystanu panderinen zhiyntyk bagalau tapsyrmalaryn kurastyru”;

Yuliya N. Muchkina, a teacher of Chemistry and Biology of Secondary School No. 8 on “Designing SAS and SAT in Chemistry and Biology in the context of distance learning”;

Arailym T. Tugelbayeva, a teacher of Geography of Secondary School No.46 on “Geography pani boiynsha toksandyk zhiyntyk bagalau tapsyrmalaryn daiyndau erekshelikterі”;

Marina V. Ponomareva, a teacher of Biology of School-Center for Additional Education No. 19 on “Designing tasks for SAS and SAT in Biology”.

Following the workshop, providing feedback the participants received answers to their questions and recommendations to design tasks for summative assessment.
