Online workshop “PISA zertteuindegi oku sauattylygy: zhazba matіnderdi tusinu men refleksiyalau”

On March 25, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop for teachers of the Kazakh language and literature entitled “PISA zertteuindegi oku sauattylygy: zhazba matіnderdi tusinu men refleksiyalau” in accordance with the action plan of the spring break school.

The goal of the event is to provide methodological assistance to subject teachers in teaching of reading literacy according to the international PISA, to develop students' ability to understand, consciously read written texts and reflect on them, to relate their content to life, applying knowledge and skills to achieve their goals, exchange experience.

The online workshop shared practices of:

a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Secondary School No. 23 of Education Department of Semey city, a teacher-researcher Shynar S. Akhmetzhanova;

a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of E.Rykov Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district, a teacher-researcher Guluzum B. Mazhinova;

a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Secondary School No. 42 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, a teacher-researcher Saltanat K. Kabylova;

a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Dulat Babatayuly Secondary School of Education Department of Ayagoz district, a teacher-researcher Dinara Yu. Tuktiyeva;

a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature, a teacher - researcher of Zhezkent Secondary School of Education Department of Borodulikha district Bauyrzhan M. Rakhimbayev.

This event learned effective ways to complete tasks for the development of reading literacy.

The event was attended by 100 teachers of the Kazakh language and literature from district, city and regional educational institutions.

Following the online workshop, the teachers got answers to their questions.
