Training of educational psychologists of colleges on the suicide prevention program in East Kazakhstan region

On March 11, 2021 a webinar on the topic “Training of educational psychologists of colleges on the suicide prevention program in East Kazakhstan region” took place under the supervision of the chief expert of the TVE Department G.B.Ilyasova in order to prevent suicidal attempts, as well as to increase the efficiency of suicide prevention activities among students.

The speaker of the webinar was the head of the Socio-Psychological Service of the Palace of Schoolchildren's Creativity of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, a teacher, psychologist, trainer L.P. Kuzemko.

The webinar was attended by teachers-psychologists of the colleges of TVE of East Kazakhstan region.

The head of RMA Zhuasbek Zh.S. briefed the participants on the program of the webinar.

G.B. Ilyasova analyzed the suicide prevention work in educational institutions of the TVE system, talked about the rules for processing documentation when committing suicide and attempting suicide.  

During the webinar L.P. Kuzemko briefed on the normative-statutory documents to implement the suicide prevention program among minors, guidelines for organizing suicide prevention activities, stages of work with students.

Also, they got acquainted with the instructions for training personnel (watchmen).

Following the webinar, educational psychologists asked questions, discussed cases from practice, and received recommendations.
