Pedagogical volunteering

The colleges are volunteering online to enhance the quality of education of school children of secondary schools of Semey city, Zharma district, in accordance with the special program of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region for 2021-2023 to continue systematic volunteer jobs in education, healthcare, helping the elderly and large families, people with disabilities, students studying “Basic secondary education” and “Primary education”.

With regard to specific information:

1) in order to improve the professional competence of students studying “Primary education” of the college on the basis of a tripartite memorandum agreed with Education Department of Semey city and the schools of the city to volunteer for two years in 8 schools of Semey city and to continue it during the period of distance learning in the pandemic. Currently 66 students are doing volunteer work with 66 students. Including, 21 students are from large families, 11 students are from low-income families.

2) 190 students-volunteers studying “Basic secondary education” are working with 190 students of Zharma district in the following schools: Arshaly Secondary School, Vasilkovskaya Secondary School, N. Krupskaya Secondary School, Mayakovsky Secondary School, Zhambyl Secondary School, B. Tursynov Secondary School, T. Khasenuly Secondary School, K.Shakenov Secondary School in the subjects: English, Kazakh, Literature, the Russian language and Russian literature, Computer science. Including, 48 are students from large families, 23 students are from low-income families.

This initiative has received widespread support from the college coordinators, school teachers and parents. A schedule has been drawn up in accordance with the leisure time of students and schoolchildren. Volunteering with schoolchildren of the above-mentioned schools is fruitful and gives positive results.
