Online workshop on “Problems of museums development in educational institutions”

An online workshop on the topic “Problems of museums development in educational institutions” was held today jointly with the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan for directors of school museums and teachers of additional education of East Kazakhstan region.

The goal of the event: analysis and study of the activities of school museums of East Kazakhstan region, professional development of teachers of additional education, directors  of school museums.  

A speaker of the workshop was the Head of Educational Work Department Asem Kh. Nuskenova. She briefed on the dynamics of the school museums development of the region in the light of implementing the Rukhani Zhangyru Program.

Mukhametsapa F. Mukhitov, Principal of Tavricheskaya Secondary School of Ulan district, Director of the school museum - the winner of the Republican competition “Best School Museum” presented an interesting experience in developing patriotic culture of the younger generation.

Also, the speakers - experts of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan outlined the problems related to museums organization in schools of the country, gave methodological recommendations on various areas of museum activities and presented the experience of school museums of the winners of the Republican competition.
