Outcomes of republican campaign “Self-knowledge as pedagogy of love and creativity”

Educational institutions of the TVE system of East Kazakhstan region held the following events within the framework of the republican campaign “Self-knowledge as pedagogy of love and creativity”: the creative action “Ray of Good”, the pedagogical festival “Lesson of Love”, the book exhibition “Meyirim togetin ana” about the activities of Sara A. Nazarbayeva the author of the program of moral and spiritual education Self-knowledge, exhibition of the stand of quotes of the author of the program of moral and spiritual education Self-knowledge “12 steps of moral and spiritual growth”, reviewing the films about the author of the program of moral and spiritual education Self-knowledge, Altyn Zhurek Challenge (videos) , Noble Heart photo exhibition, essay competition “Heart Filled with Love”.  The training “Family as a source of morality and spirituality” was conducted for parents. Also, a charity event “Zhurekten zhurekke” was organized to provide children from large, low-income families and children with special educational needs.

During the Republican scientific and practical workshop on the topic “Moral and spiritual education as a factor to develop a future expert”, a third year student of M.Auezov Pedagogical College Almagul Khurmanbai made a presentation on the topic “Improving teacher's activities as required by professional standards via Self-knowledge” (a supervisor - Aigerim K. Nurlanova, Ph.D., a lecturer of Pedagogy).

The campaign was followed by the International Forum “Self-Knowledge: Mission in the Name of Love” starting with the demonstration of the anniversary film about Sara A. Nazarbayeva entitled “Illuminated by the Light of Love ...”.

The Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bibigul Asylova, Director General of the Bobek Centre Elena Sakenova and Acting President of the National Institute for Harmonious Human Development Irina Kalachyeva welcomed the participants of the Forum.

The forum was attended by the representatives of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, the Center for Professional Education of East Kazakhstan region, college principals, as well as teachers of Self-knowledge.

Information of the events is posted on the Internet resources and on the social networks of the colleges of the region. More than 7,000 students were involved in the republican campaign “Self-knowledge - pedagogy of love and creativity”.
