Results of participation of schoolchildren of East Kazakhstan region in the republican competition of scientific projects in general subjects

On 9-12 February, 2021, the team of East Kazakhstan region, consisting of young researchers, for the first time, online took part in the republican competition of scientific projects in general subjects.  

The annual competition this year involved 750 schoolchildren (576 scientific projects) from all regions of the country.

The team of East Kazakhstan region submitted 34 projects to the competition in 4 directions: “Sci-tech progress as a key to economic growth”, “Mathematical modeling of economic and social processes”, “Healthy natural environment as basis to implementing the Strategy “Kazakhstan – 2030” and “Historic Monuments of Kazakhstan and Perspective Tourist Routes”.

All participants went through all rounds of the competition and worthily defended their projects.

As a result of the competition, diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the 1st degree and gold medals were awarded to 2 participants, II degree diplomas and silver medals - 3, III degree diplomas and bronze medals -11.

Moreover, for the special achievements, 4 participants were awarded diplomas of the Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center.
