RESULTS OF REGIONAL AITYS OF YOUNG AQYNS “ZHYR ALYBY – ZHAMBYL”

On February 10, 2021, Daryn East Kazakhstan Scientific and Methodological Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional online Aitys of Young Aqyns “Zhyr alyby – Zhambyl” among students of 8-11 grades of secondary schools of East Kazakhstan region, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great poet Zhambyl Zhabayev.

The goal of the Aitys is to promote the creativity of the great poet Zhambyl Zhabayev, to identify natural talents, to identify abilities, to increase students' interest in poetry.

Aitys was attended by 20 students of grades 8-11 who won in the district/city rounds. Young akyns were selected by a respected jury, comprising of lecturers from S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, as well as akyns of East Kazakhstan region.

According to the results of the online Aitys, 8 students became winners:

Grand Prix

- Rakhat Tamasha, a 10th grade student, Birlik Secondary School, Zharma district.

I place

- Manarbek Ykylas, a 10th grade student, Zhansugurov Secondary School, Urjar district.

ІІ place:

- Askarkyzy Nuraiym, an 8th grade student, Okpety Secondary School, Tarbagatai district;

- Zhumagaliyev Aktilek, an 8th grade student, Secondary School No. 15, Semey city;

- Sheshimbek Orkiya, an 11th grade student, Kogedai Secondary School, Zaisan district.

ІІІ place:

  • Bakytkanuly Meirambek, a 10th grade student, Bozanbay Secondary School, Ulan district;
  • Orazova Korkem, a 10th grade student, Ainabulak Secondary School, Zaisan district;
  • Daurenuly Aibat, a 10th grade student, Karatal Secondary School, Zaisan district.

Nominations:

  • Asylbek Aimerey, an 8th grade student, Abai Secondary School No. 33, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;
  • Baiburinova Togzhan, a 9th grade student, Aksunkar class of akyns, Abai district;
  • Abdrakhmanov Erkanat, a 9th grade student, Kazakh School-Lyceum, Ayagoz district.

Winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.

All participants were awarded certificates.

The Grand Prix winner of the regional round Rakhat Tamasha and the 1st place winner Manarbek Ykylas will represent East Kazakhstan region at the republican round of the competition, taking place after 20 February this year.
