Regional online workshop “Effective methods and techniques to work with children with special educational needs in psychological and special education units”

On February 11, 2021, Shygys Regional Center of Education Department of East Kazakhstan region held a regional online workshop on the topic “Effective methods and techniques to work with children with special educational needs in psychological and special education units” for speech therapists, defectologists, psychologists of psychological and special education units.   

The goal of the event is to provide methodological support to experts of psychological and special education units, to create conditions for the educational environment in the form of distance learning.

At the online workshop, teachers of psychological and special education units of Ridder town L.S. Mekhova, E.A. Grechishkina, E.A. Savelyeva, G.Zh. Dyusenova, M.A. Bannikova; of Urjar district - A.B. Akhmadiyeva, A.K. Mukanova; of Semey city M.G. Yakupova, G.E. Magulova shared their experience on the topic “Effective methods and techniques to work with children with special educational needs in psychological and special education units”.

78 experts of psychological and special education units of the region took part in the event. The participants discussed the efficiency of psychological and special education units’ activities on the introduction of modern innovative effective methods, techniques and technologies for working with special children.

Following the online workshop, they presented the guidelines to work with children at psychological and special education units.
