Results of the XV Republican distance Olympiad of Kazakh language “Language as a Symbol of the State’s Independence”

Language is the greatest nation’s asset and its integral symbol. Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center held the XV Republican distance Olympiad in Kazakh language among students of grades 5-10 of non-Kazakh nationality “Language as a Symbol of the State’s Independence”.

The goal of the Olympiad is to identify and support talented students who are interested in acquisition of the official language.

The Olympiad was held in two rounds: distance and final.

524 students of East Kazakhstan region participated in the Olympiad. 15 schoolchildren defended the honor of our region in the final round.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners are:

1. First Degree Diploma was awarded to Kira Kozhemyako, a 5th grade student of D. Konayev School No. 3 of Ridder town;
2. Second Degree Diploma was awarded to Tatyana Grosheva, a student of grade 9 of Kanonerkskaya Secondary School of Beskaragai district;
3. Third Degree Diplomas were awarded to:

1) Georgy Gorbachyev, a 7th grade student of Novo-Irtysh Secondary School of Gluboky district;

2) Oksana Bush - a student of the 8th grade of Novo-Khairuzovskaya Secondary School of Katon-Karagai district;

3) Alena Bogomolova - a student of the 9th grade of School-Lyceum No.1 of Ridder town; 4) Ekaterina Berezovskikh – a student of the 9th grade of School-Lyceum No.1 of Ridder town;

5) Yuri Belov – a student of the 7th grade of School No.40 of Semey city.

All participants were awarded certificates of Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
