Outcome of regional round of the republican debate tournament “Ushkyr oy alany”

On January 29, 2021, Daryn East Kazakhstan Research and Methodology Center for Gifted and Additional Education Development held the regional round of the distance republican debate tournament “Ushkyr oy alany” among students of grades 8-11.

The goal of the tournament: fostering learners’ citizenship, ensuring responsibility to themselves and society for their actions, developing the ability to think creatively and critically through analysis and public discussion of current situations observed in the country.

78 students (39 teams) from 13 districts and regional specialized schools for gifted children took part in the regional round of the distance republican debate tournament “Ushkyr oi alany”.

Following the tournament, 12 teams were awarded.

1st place - Parasat team (Abai district), Daraboz team (Zaisan district), Bolashak team (Kokpekty district).

II place - Parasat team (Ayagoz district), Laula team (Kurchum district), Tarlan team (Semey city), Zhiger team (Ulan district).

The third place went to FM and Zhenis teams (Regional specialized boarding school-lyceum for gifted children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city), Dilmar team (Abai district), Abai Alemi team (Zharma district), Algyrlar team (Beskaragai district).
