Holding a trial online testing PISA-2022 among students of grade 8 of schools of the region

On 14-15 December 2020, East Kazakhstan Regional Center for New Technologies in Education held an online testing in math, reading and natural science competences via an automated testing program in order to provide high-quality preparation of schools of the region for the International survey PISA-2022.

Students of grade 8 of schools of the region participated in the testing.

The questions were drawn up as close as possible to the updated PISA-2022 standards. The largest number of mistakes was made in questions of information literacy and mathematical calculations based on invariant sources.   

The knowledge quality in mathematical literacy made up 55%, in natural science literacy - 70%, in reading (information) literacy - 67%.

In total, over 2000 students took part in the testing.
