On the eve of Independence Day, two more inclusive education units to open its doors to children with special needs in East Kazakhstan region

On December 14, 2020, Inclusive Education Units are solemnly opened in the region on behalf of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev, as part of the Kamkorlyk Initiative at M.Auezov Secondary School of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Secondary School No.36 of Semey city with participation of representatives of local executive agencies, the public members, parents, schoolchildren and teachers.  

In general, 16 Inclusive Education Units are opened at the same time across the country in 8 regions. The units have special conditions for adaptation, correction and education of children with special educational needs. The teaching staff has been recruited. All teachers have been trained to work with children of this category in a classroom in order to provide timely qualified assistance to children with special educational needs and their families. This, in turn, will ensure the realization of the right of every special child to education in inclusive learning conditions on an equal basis with their peers as well as addressing the issues of socialization of children.

As a whole in the region, 68 Inclusive Education Units have been equipped in secondary schools within the framework of implementing the program of Inclusive Education for 2018-2020.
