Refresher courses for day-care assistants with Kazakh and Russian languages of education entitled “Content of educational environment as part of inclusive education development”

On 7-11 December, 2020 Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held online refresher courses “Content of educational environment as part of inclusive education development” for day-care assistants of the region as part of implementing the Roadmap “Inclusive Education Development for 2018-2020”, the State Program of Education, Science and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025.

The aim of the courses is to develop the professional competence of educators to organize and create a special environment that provides equal access to education, taking into account the special educational needs and individual characteristics of learners. 450 day-care assistants attended the courses.

Course lecturers: Sairova Sabira Biyakhmetovna, an expert of the highest category, director of Akbota kindergarten of Akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk city; Petushkova Elena Valeryevna, Deputy Director of educational institution of kindergarten No. 61 for mentally-retarded children; Bayrakhmetova Nurgul Esimkhanovna, a teacher of the highest category, master of defectology, speech therapist of kindergarten No. 61 for children with mental retardation of Akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk city; Smagulova Markhabat Kairatovna, a speech therapist of Zhanartau kindergarten for children with disabilities.

Professional development courses are relevant for the work of day-care assistants.
