An online workshop on “Modern technologies in giftedness identification and support”

On November 9, 2020, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop on the topic “Modern technologies in giftedness identification and support”.

The goal of the workshop is to share practices in identifying and supporting the giftedness of leaners.

The workshop was attended by coordinators of district, city departments of education, heads of associations and teachers of Kazakh language and Literature of schools of the region.  

In the online workshop, teaching practices were shared by:

Bakytgul Omargaliyevna Auganbayeva, Deputy Principal for Innovation of Zhambyl Regional Specialized School-Gymnasium-Boarding School for Gifted Children on the topic “Identification and development of giftedness, providing  support in educational process”;

Kulgasyn Mamyrbekovna Dyusebayeva, a teacher of Kazakh language and Literature of the highest category of East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum BILIM-INNOVATION for gifted children of Semey city, on the topic “Revealing creative abilities of learners and support of gifted children”.

Feedback was received at the workshop, where the participants obtained answers to their questions.

The materials of this workshop were sent to district and city education departments and regional educational institutions.
