PRESS RELEASE of methodological online workshop on “Forming functional literacy of schoolchildren in the context of implementing the updated educational content”

Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is holding a methodological online workshop on “Forming functional literacy of schoolchildren in the context of implementing the updated educational content” as part of the work of the Association of subjects “Atameken” for teachers of History of secondary schools of the region.

The goal of the workshop is to share experiences on forming functional literacy of schoolchildren in the context of implementing the updated content of school education, forming pedagogical actions and techniques aimed at organizing the educational process that develops the creative mastering of educational material in the subjects “Kazakhstan History”, “World history” in the process of cognitive activities of schoolchildren. In the online workshop, the members of the regional Association will share their work experiences: G.Zh. Kaikubayeva a teacher of history, teacher-researcher of Secondary School No. 36 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city; Denis Anatolyevich Nikitin a teacher of history of the highest category of Zubovskaya Secondary School of Altai town and Gulshat Erbolatovna Moldakhanova of Lyceum School No. 11.

The speakers will share their experiences in improving the functional literacy of schoolchildren in the subjects of “Kazakhstan History”, “World History” and present the best fragments of lessons in distance learning.  

The methodological online seminar takes place on November 12, 2020 at 10.00 a.m.
