Outcomes of the republican round of Junior Olympiad in Science and Mathematics

The Republican Junior Olympiad in Science and Mathematics was held online at the same time in all regions of the Republic, on October 28, 2020. It was attended by 26 schoolchildren-winners of the regional round of the Olympiad.

The aim of the Olympiad is to stimulate students' interest in in-depth study of Science and Mathematics, as well as to improve the system of preparing juniors for higher level Olympiads and create an Olympic reserve.

Gifted schoolchildren of the region, learners of grades 8-9 showed their knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science.

On October 27, 2020, all participants took part in the technical round without to check their technical readiness.

According to the outcomes of the Olympiad, 16 participants won prizes (1st place - 2 students, 2nd place - 6 students, 3rd place - 8 students).
