Regional coaching session “Developing universal learning activities and soft skills in learners with special educational needs within inclusive education”

On January 6, 2026, as part of the winter vacation school plan, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional coaching session entitled “Developing universal learning activities and soft skills in learners with special educational needs within inclusive education” for psychologists, defectologists, speech therapists, teaching assistants. The event took place at M. Shayakhmetov Secondary School No. 23 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

During the regional coaching session, professional experience and best practices were shared by the representatives of the Örken Regional Methodological Center, the Regional Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, methodologists of Education Department of the city, as well as special teachers from secondary schools of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.   

In total, more than 100 educators participated in the event and received methodological recommendations.

The event was followed by a feedback session where all participants received answers to their questions and emphasized the relevance of the coaching session.
