On December 24, 2025, the final meeting of the Regional Commission on Juvenile Affairs and Minors’ Rights Protection was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan region E.Zh. Nurgaliyev.

The meeting was attended by the Commissioner for Human Rights of East Kazakhstan region, representatives of law enforcement and local executive agencies, as well as the chairs of city and district commissions.

The meeting summarized the results of the Commissions’ activities for 2025.

Key data were presented on crimes committed by minors, crimes against minors, as well as cases of suicide and incidents of bullying. Reports from the Commissions of Katon-Karagai district and Markakol district were also presented.

Following the meeting, the action plan of the Regional Commission for 2026 was drafted. Instructions were given to strengthen interdepartmental cooperation, improve the system for protecting the rights of minors and enhance supervision of minors registered with police and educational organizations.
