The Year of Skilled Trades: Results, Achievements and New Opportunities

On December 19, 2025, the Regional Forum titled “The Year of Skilled Trades: Results, Achievements and New Opportunities” was held with the participation of Akim of East Kazakhstan region Nurymbet A. Saktaganov. The forum, organized by Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, became a significant event that brought together representatives of industry, social partners, colleges and students. It was a festive event to mark the respect for work, professional skills and real achievements.  

The event summarized the development of the technical and vocational education system and highlighted the significant contributions of social partners and educational organizations to the implementation of the Year of Skilled Trades initiative.

During the solemn part of the forum, Akim of the region presented awards to active social partners, enterprises, universities and colleges: Kazzinс LLP was awarded in the nomination “Best Philanthropist of the Year”;

The winners were announced in the following nominations “Best Social Partner”, “Partner of Continuing Education”, “Active College of the Year”;

The Chamber of Entrepreneurs of East Kazakhstan region was awarded the “Profi-Seriktes”.

Special attention was paid to honoring the winners and prize–winners of the Republican Championships of WorldSkills, AgroSkills, Abilympics-2025, who received valuable gifts on behalf of Akim of the region. The forum also featured the presentation of the Regional Workforce Demand Map of East Kazakhstan region, an important tool for future labor market development. The forum concluded with a festive concert program, dedicated to skilled professionals and mastership.
