PRESS RELEASE of regional competition “Best local history lesson -2025”

On December 12, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is holding a regional competition “Best local history lesson -2025”.

The goal of the Competition is to deepen students’ knowledge about local history, nature, culture and people; to develop their research and creative abilities, and to foster patriotism for their country and region, to disseminate effective pedagogical practices.

The competition includes 2 rounds.

Round I - district/city. From October, 28 to November 21, 2025.

Stage II - regional. On December 12, 2025.

Location: 21 Abai Ave., 4th floor, conference hall, 08.30 a.m.

Date: December 12, 2025.      

Participants of the competition: teachers of the following subjects - History of Kazakhstan, Kazakh literature (Kazakh language and literature for schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction), Geography, Music of organizations of general secondary education of East Kazakhstan region.

Language of the event: Kazakh, Russian (depending on the language of instruction)
