PRESS RELEASE of regional competition “Best local history lesson - 2025”

On November 28, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is holding a regional competition “Best local history lesson - 2025”.

The goal of the competition is to deepen students’ knowledge of local history, nature, culture and people; to develop their research and creative abilities, and to foster a spirit of patriotism among students for their country and region, and to disseminate effective pedagogical practices.  

The competition includes 2 rounds.

Round 1 - district/city. From October, 28 to November 21, 2025.

Round II - regional. On November 28, 2025.

Location: 21 Abai Ave., 4th floor, Conference Hall.

Date: November 28, 2025.

Time: 09:00 a.m.

Participants of the competition: teachers of the following subjects from organizations of general secondary education of East Kazakhstan region “History of Kazakhstan”, “Kazakh literature” (“Kazakh language and literature” for schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction), “Geography”, “Music”. 

Language of the event: Kazakh, Russian (depending on the language of instruction)
