Psychological and pedagogical support for students in preparation for assessment

Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region in cooperation with the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch of Teaching Excellence Center held a training webinar for teachers and school psychologists of the region. The speaker of the event was R.D. Abilgazina. The webinar focused on supporting students during the assessment preparation period.

The speaker elaborated on the issues of understanding the sources of stress that students experience in assessment situations, examined ways to understand the emotional states of students, practical techniques for reducing anxiety, strategies for motivation and building confidence, analyzed methods and techniques for emotional self-regulation, offered recommendations for creating an emotion-friendly and comfortable educational environment.  

The event was aimed at enhancing the quality of student support and creating favorable conditions for their successful completion of assessment procedures.
