Outcomes of regional seminar “Zharatylystany salasyndagy oku urdisindegi zhanashyldyk-okushynyn tanymdyk belsendiligin arttyrudyn zholy”

On October 30, 2025, in accordance with its autumn vacation plan, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional seminar on the topic “Zharatylystany salasyndagy oku urdisindegi zhanashyldyk-okushynyn tanymdyk belsendiligin arttyrudyn zholy” (Innovation in natural science education as a way to enhancing students’ cognitive engagement).

Abai Secondary School of Akzhar settlement of Tarbagatai district hosted the seminar. Over 50 teachers of natural sciences and mathematics of secondary schools of the region participated in the event.

The goal of the seminar was to enhance students’ cognitive activity and develop their interest in science subjects through the use of modern methods and technologies in teaching natural sciences.

As part of the event, teachers of Abai Secondary School presented innovative pedagogical technologies and techniques they successfully apply in their classrooms. Particular emphasis was placed on the integration of artificial intelligence in the learning process - the teachers conducted a master class, demonstrating how modern digital tools can make science lessons more interactive and effective.

The seminar proved to be a productive and inspiring platform for the professional growth of teachers. The participants not only exchanged experiences and presented their own innovations, but also expressed readiness to implement advanced digital technologies in their teaching practice.
