Online webinar on “The importance of play-based learning activities in implementing the curriculum of preschool education”

On October 22, 2025, a practical online webinar took place on the topic “The importance of play-based learning activities in implementing the curriculum of preschool education”, in accordance with the annual action plan of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region and the Regional Mobile Group on Preschool Education.

The goal of the webinar was to familiarize preschool educators with effective methods and techniques for implementing curriculum content through play-based learning activities, to provide methodological support and to encourage the exchange of professional experience.   

During the event, the participants explored the influence of play activities on early childhood development, and examined ways to foster speech, cognitive, and social skills through play activities. The educators shared their own practices and effective approaches of using play-based activities. Methodological recommendations were also provided on selecting and applying of various types of games appropriate to children’s developmental stages.

Following the webinar, the participants discussed the role and importance of play-based activities in the system of preschool education, expressed gratitude to the organizers for the valuable and meaningful session, noting that they received new ideas and practical recommendations for use in their teaching practice.

The event was attended by 40 educators of preschool education from different districts of the region.
