National Crafts Day as part of Host Family Project

National Crafts Day as part of Host Family Project

A special thematic event was held today as part of the Host Family Project -  National Crafts Day. This day turned out to be both educational and inspiring for the children involved in the project.

During the event, the children explored the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people. The participants learned about traditional Kazakh ornaments, mastered the basic techniques for making national crafts, and also tried their hand at creativity - they painted ornaments, made handmade items inspired by the Kazakh design elements. The workshops gave children a chance to showcase their talents, while connecting more deeply with their national values and culture.

The day concluded with a campfire near the settlement. The event brought together all the participants in a warm, friendly atmosphere: they sang songs, shared their impressions and communicated with each other. This moment became a true symbol of unity, hospitality and friendship - values deeply rooted in Kazakh traditions.

Events like these play a key role in spiritual and moral education of the younger generation, fostering cultural awareness and strengthening the values of friendship and mutual understanding.
